The Rapiscan 627DV is a Dual View screening system with a high tunnel opening of 1,000mm wide by 1,000mm high and is designed for screening small cargo and parcels for customs, air cargo and infrastructure protection screening applications.
It uses innovative Dual View technology to generate a horizontal and vertical view of the object under inspection. These perpendicular images provided eliminate the need for security screeners to reposition or to re-scan the object regardless of their orientation in the x-ray tunnel, thus greatly improve threat detection as well as throughput.
The Rapiscan 627DV has been approved and included on the U.S. TSA Air Cargo Screening Technology List (ACSTL) applicable to U.S TSA Certified Cargo Screening program (CCSP) as well as the Qualified Equipment and Services Lists applicable to the Transport Canada (TC) Air Cargo Security Program (ACS).
